What is the difference between a boss key and SuperWatchDog?
Short answer
A traditional boss key usually hides and restores selected windows with a keystroke. SuperWatchDog offers more trigger choices and lets users combine window handling, Windows lock, and vault protection. Neither judges content or overrides workplace rules.
The difference is the trigger range and action layers
A boss key is useful for quickly hiding a window while at the keyboard. It normally does not prevent someone from using the PC or protect files on disk, although behavior varies by application.
SuperWatchDog covers broader emergency privacy situations: users select a shortcut, device, or camera trigger and then choose the protection actions. It does not evaluate or identify content, and users must still follow the law, workplace policies, and device-management rules.
