Emergency screen privacy
What should I do if someone approaches while I am gaming or viewing private content?
Short answer
Use hiding or Windows lock without terminating applications, rather than force-closing a game, player, or document. Users decide what to protect; the software does not evaluate the type of content.
Prefer an action that is easy to recover from
Full-screen games and video can capture shortcuts or change window switching, so test the trigger with applications you actually use. Hide a selected window for brief cover, or lock Windows if someone may use the PC.
Entertainment, private communication, and work do not need to be forced into a label. SuperWatchDog executes the user's configured trigger and actions without judging why privacy is needed. Use it lawfully and respect the rights of others.
- Test with commonly used full-screen applications
- Avoid force-closing unsaved content
- Use Windows lock if someone may touch the PC
