What is the difference between Win+L and SuperWatchDog?
Win+L is the direct built-in shortcut for locking Windows and works well when you can reach the keyboard. SuperWatchDog is for users who want other trigger methods and their own combination of window, lock-screen, and vault actions.
Win+L is the baseline; alternative triggers help beyond keyboard reach
When your hand is near the keyboard, Win+L is often fast enough and needs no extra setup. It locks the current Windows session, but does not decide which windows to handle or necessarily lock a private file container that remains open.
SuperWatchDog lets users configure a shortcut, device, or camera trigger and choose actions such as hiding windows, locking Windows, or protecting a vault. It is not a mandatory replacement for Win+L; the right choice depends on distance, environment, and acceptable impact.
