What RAW means
RAW is not a normal working file-system state. It often means important structures are damaged or unrecognized. It does not prove that all file content is gone, and formatting does not guarantee recovery.
What a read-only scan can do
Super Recovery first tries to parse readable structures, then scans for file signatures when folders cannot be reconstructed. Original names, paths, and dates may be unavailable, so use type, size, and preview to judge results.
Recover everything to another healthy drive. Scanning and preview stay on the local computer; file content is not uploaded.
Do not mistake hardware failure for RAW damage
Stop if the drive also disconnects, reports abnormal capacity, makes unusual noises, or stalls during reads. Software is for stable readable media and cannot repair physical faults.
